Our 13th year at Long Beach High School Senior Awards Night!
We request the student to write an essay based on who has inspired them over their past 4 years. Majority of these essays are heartwarming to read and learn about their local mentors. Family members, coaches, teachers, guidance counselors. It's so important for everyone to have someone they can talk to, look up to, learn from. I always remind the students to continue having a mentor and to be a mentor. Everyone needs someone. The people that look like they have it all together, need someone. Keep your eyes open. Give back.
